A gang member tried to stab a witness testifying in court in South Lake City, Utah with a pen.

Siale Angilau, 25, was a Tongan Crip Gang member (not sure if they mean he is a Crip of Tongan descent or if there is Tongang wing of the Crips gang; the Crips are an African-American gang, and Tonga is a Polynesian Island in the South Pacific).  He was on trial for assault, conspiracy, robbery and weapons offenses.

Angilau rose from his seat, grabbed his lawyer’s pen, and ran toward the witness, falling over the witness stand as the witness jumped back and away from Angilau.

Before Angilau could harm the witness, a U.S. marshal fired 4 shots at Angilau, killing him.

Angilau’s family tried to sue, saying that because he was only armed with a pen, being shot constituted an “excessive use of force”, but the case was dismissed.

In an even more ghetto court incident, A man assaulted two women whose family member had been murdered 2 years ago (Carl Koontz, a county deputy, was shot and killed while serving a warrant).  Koontz’s mother and sister (54-year-old Jackie and 27-year-old Alice, respectively) were in court for a paternity hearing.  They were accompanied by a baby, Amelia Koontz

Bryson Small, 36, attacked the two women, knocking them the ground and hitting them several times. Both women suffered facial and head injuries.  Alice Koontz was knocked unconscious and was hospitalized.  The baby, who was in a carrier was not injured in the incident.

The news articles don’t say why Bryson Small was in the courthouse, or why he attacked the women.

Authorities in Salt Lake city released footage on Monday from a federal courtroom that shows a U.S. marshal shooting dead a defendant as he attempted to attack a witness with a pen.

The footage from 2014 shows Tongan Crip Gang member Siale Angilau, 25, rising from a seat next to his attorney, and grabbing his lawyer’s pen.

He then dashes towards the witness and attempts to vault onto the stand, brandishing the pen.

The witness jumps back as Angilau falls over the front of the witness stand. An oficer out of shot yells "drop the pen. Drop the pen out of your hand."

The female U.S. marshal, named only as Jane Doe, then fires four shots, killing Angilau.

A judge decided to release courtroom footage of the incident after a lawsuit from Angilau’s family was dismissed.

"The video completely contradicts the plaintiffs' argument that Angilau stopped posing a danger within less than one second of launching himself over the witness stand while making a stabbing motion with a pen in his hand," said District Judge John Dowdell.

"Angilau was in custody, but he essentially had escaped custodial control for those seconds during which he was executing his plan to assault the witness," the judge wrote in a ruling obtained by Deseret News.
"His attack was stopped by the shots that Jane Doe rapidly fired, in less than one and one-half seconds."

The family had argued that Angilau was armed only with a pen, and the four shots fired constituted an excessive use of force.

The U.S. marshal who fired the shots was cleared of any wrongdoing.

Angilau was one of 17 Tongan Crip members named in a 2010 indictment accused of assault, conspiracy, robbery and weapons offenses. He was the last of the defendants to stand trial, with other gang members having received prison sentences ranging from 10 to 30 years.

The mother and sister of an Indiana sheriff's deputy who was fatally shot in 2016 were attacked in a courthouse Monday.

Howard County Deputy Carl Koontz died two years ago after he was shot while attempting to serve a warrant in Russiaville.

His sister, Alice, 27, and their mother, 54-year-old Jackie, were in the Howard County Courthouse in Kokomo for a paternity hearing when a man identified as Bryson Small, 36, allegedly assaulted them, Fox 59 reported.

Witnesses reportedly said Small was walking toward the Koontzs when he attacked them. The women were knocked to the floor and hit several times, officials said.

Bystanders helped the women, according to WRTV, and also helped deputies stop Small.

The Koontzs both suffered facial and head injuries, and Alice was knocked unconcious. She was hospitalized to be treated for her injuries.

A baby, Amelia Koontz, was in a carrier but not injured in the incident.

Small reportedly approached the two "to answer questions about the case," but it remains unclear why he attacked the women.

He was booked at the the Howard County Jail on felony assault charges.

Victoria's Scuffle

At a shopping mall in front of a Victoria's Secret store, a ghetto mêlée broke out.  What was particularly ghetto about this one was that a mother temporarily left her child (toddler) to engage in the fracas.

Here is the fight in front of the store.

Below is the toddler riding in a store-provided child cart (shaped like a little red car) being pushed by his mother toward the scuffle.  The fight appears to be composed of exclusively teenage girls.

Above, you can see one of the victims (?) lying prostrate on the ground (in a hot pink top).

As the victim gets herself up off the ground, the mother of the toddler kicks her as she (the mother) walks by pushing her toddler in the cart. Ghetto Level: 10

The child is left alone for about half a minute as the mother (red arrow) continues to fight.

The title of the news article is somewhat misleading, because it implies a fight broke out around the toddler, when in fact he was brought toward the brawl by his mom/caretaker.


On a personal note, I went to my local Target Store recently. A group of teenagers (who also happened to be african-american) strolled in right in front of me. I could tell by their 'swagger' and the dubiousness of their character and comments that they were up to no good (not to mention the fact that they didn't seem interested in shopping for anything).  About 20 minutes later, having made my purchase, I walk out of the store to see said teenagers (both boys and girls) engaged in a fight on the parking lot near the entrance.  I took no pleasure in being proven right.  I just shook my head.

Trump, immigration, and the wall

I try to keep this web log apolitical, but considering the recent turn of events I think it’s appropriate this time around to mention politics briefly.

There’s been a lot of news lately about Trump banning certain people from coming into the country (yes, I realize that’s an understatement) and building a wall along the border with Mexico.

The democrats and liberals have of course completely lost it.  It’s gone beyond just protesting.  They have been acting like a bunch of asses.  Their rioting and endless whining is getting old fast.

I don’t like Trump either, but at the same time I understand the frustration of his supporters, and the frustration of the people of the United States as a whole (those who while not supporting Trump, also do not entirely disagree with him).

For years the liberals and democrats have tried to force open borders on everyone.  They have designated so-called “sanctuary cities’.  They have refused to detain criminals who may be here illegally.

Meanwhile, many of our cities have come to resemble third world slums.  But the democrats and liberals continue to stay the course, counteracting dissent by utilizing condescending, bleeding-heart catch-phrases such as “no one is illegal”. [gag, vomit].  The area of Los Angeles where my parents lives now looks like Tijuana circa 1985 (a total sh*thole).

Many of these immigrants refuse to assimilate into mainstream society.  They don’t respect our laws (or they want to introduce sharia law) and they don’t respect our way of life (they see that as “selling out”).  They see the United States simply as a cow to be milked for all its worth.  They have no loyalty to their new countrymen.  And they pass this attitude onto their children, children who become murderous gang-members, Islamic terrorists, or just lazy, welfare-mooching burdens on society (who then blame white people for all their ills).

I see what’s happening in Great Britain – muslim and other ‘ethnic’ enclaves where the original local inhabitants (white british) are harassed or not welcome.  I see what’s happening in Sweden, where almost every rape is committed by muslim immigrants (mainly from Somalia).  I see what is happening in France, where many native French people have been killed by Islamic terrorists.  And the leftist politicians there refuse to do anything about it.

I don’t want that to happen here.  My parents did not immigrate from a failed state just to end up in another failed state.  And this is what the democrats and liberals are creating.  These idiots tend to be either upper middle class, ivory tower-living whites who are far removed from what the rest of us have to deal with every day, or they are low-life ghetto scum who enjoy living the way they do and have nothing to lose by letting in more losers like themselves.

I have family in Latin America, and it I don’t like the idea that they may not be allowed to visit the United States (or to move here, if they so chose to).  However, it’s completely ridiculous to just open the borders entirely and allow anyone in.  The United States would be completely overrun, and we don’t have the infrastructure or tax revenue to support that.

If we need to make an example of some countries to send a clear message, then so be it.  It’s unpalatable (I wish we didn’t have to do this), but somebody has to do it. And the politically-correct liberals are too gutless to do it.

There is nothing wrong in building a wall or stemming immigration, especially from certain countries (that are considered high risk).  And every country has the right to secure its borders.  It sounds mean, and it sounds unfair.  But the world is unfair.

I am not against immigration, but it has to be done right.  There is nothing racist or xenophobic about putting a temporary hold on immigration.  America needs a breather; we need to catch our breath and focus on the people (citizens and legal residents) already here.  We need to fix our current problems before inviting potential new problems.  Sounds like common sense, but these politically correct idiots (like Abel Guillén and the Oakland City council, who want to boycott companies working with Trump) just don’t get it (no wonder Oakland is in such bad shape, when you have idiots like those).

Keep ghetto trash out – we have enough here already.

From butterfly to cockroach

1965 – Martin Luther King Jr leads a group of nonviolent citizens on a march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama for civil rights.  The protesters are beaten by police and troopers, and about 50 protesters end up being hospitalized.

2016 – Fast-forward 51 years:  In Selma, Alabama, an ambulance responds to a call for a medical emergency and instead get shot at by violent thugs for their trouble.


While the emergency technicians began to check the patient’s blood pressure, shots were fired at them.  The technicians got back into their van, and the “patient” jumped up and ran off, according to the local news stations (see source below).

It is now believed that the call (and patient) was a fake, created to lure them into the neighborhood, and that the attack was part of a gang initiation.   There are no leads so far.

My, my, my.  How far Selma has fallen.  Maybe Ava DuVernay can make a movie called “Selma II: John Lewis sticks it to The Man”.

Way to go, Selma.  Not quite the way I would choose to commemorate MLK, but that’s just me (though to be fair, this happened on December 5, about a month before MLK day).



[In Birmingham, Alabama, a paramedic was attacked by the person he was trying to help.  This happened just a few days ago.  I might write about that later if I get a chance.]

Looks like Alabama is calling open season on first responders.
